I am sure, that’s what the certain couple in contention must have experienced, when they got to meet Tom Hanks in person.

The actor, who also appeared on one of the episodes of The Daily Show, is a true gem in real life! Hanks, who marked his presence on the show in late June this year, is a treat to watch. Whether you caught him on the famed show The Daily Show, (online or otherwise), or have relished his movies, this is one guy who is truly hard to miss.

It’s been around 6 weeks that his latest movie, Larry Crowne has been running in theatres, but an incident like this was least expected.

Tom Hanks, who is the lead in Larry Crowne, perhaps must be criticizing the day he went to fill gas in his car, in the Pacific Palisades, LA.

Of course, who wouldn’t, when the bitter truth is dished out to them, right on their face?

Wanna know what happened?

Well, while Hanks’ car was getting refilled, a couple approached him to greet and confess what they really felt upon watching his movie. For them, apparently, it wasn’t a treat to their eyes, as they expected something more from their beloved actor.

Listening to his two disheartened fans, Hanks offered them to repay the money that they had spent on the movie tickets and apologized.

Tsk tsk! What an irony!

I wonder what Tom will do now?

Not venture out to gas stations?

I guess, Tom should not roam the roads so much, especially when his movies don’t perform well.
